At PwC, we are committed to foster an environment where people with disabilities are included, feel empowered to be themselves and have access to the support and adjustments they need to thrive.
This belief is deeply embedded in our commitment to drive innovation, confirming our offerings are inclusive and universally accessible. This is why we are thrilled to announce that ProEdge, our flagship EdTech B2B product, now aligns with WCAG2.1 AA standards!
The Importance of Accessibility
As a global leader, PwC recognizes that we are part of a community where millions live with disabilities that can potentially limit their access to educational tools. By making ProEdge accessible, we're not just adhering to guidelines; we're opening doors. We're confirming that each administrator, and/or learner who interacts with ProEdge can do so seamlessly.
Operationalizing Accessibility
Making ProEdge accessible wasn’t just about checking the box. It was showcasing that ProEdge is dedicated to supporting our users and that we keep each user in mind.
Our approach and journey was unique. We leveraged PwC’s collective resources, mobilizing teams across different departments — creating a perfect combination of our tech, design, and accessibility specialists. We upgraded ProEdge in record time (short 3 months), without compromising on its core functionality or aesthetics.
A Step Forward, Many More to Go
This is a significant milestone, but our journey doesn’t end here. We see this as the start of our ongoing commitment to confirm each product feature we design, develop, or deploy, stands up to the highest standards of accessibility.
